Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Truck Mechanic III to join our team at Penske Truck Leasing Canada Inc. in Quebec. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairing and replacing diesel truck components, and assisting with the removal and installation of major components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment and machinery.
  • Repair and replace diesel truck components, including brakes, electrical systems, and cab components.
  • Assist with the removal and installation of major components, such as engines and transmissions.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of practical experience with vehicle repair or truck repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Vocational/Technical or certification preferred.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an apprentice program.
  • Must maintain membership/registration with respective Government Agencies.
