About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Mucho Burrito. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and portion food items according to our menu standards
    • Package take-out food and ensure it is ready for customers
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
    • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure the kitchen is clean and organized
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Customer Service
    • Take customers' orders and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner
    • Use efficient interpersonal skills to resolve customer complaints and issues
Work Environment

As a Food Counter Attendant at Mucho Burrito, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of customers. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.

Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a food service environment is an asset, but not required
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet the demands of a busy restaurant
