At Novare Construction Ltd., we are seeking an experienced Mill Carpenter to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who have a passion for working with their hands and enjoy being part of a dynamic construction environment.
About the RoleWe are offering a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Mill Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to woodwork and mill operations.
Duties and Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
- Instructing apprentices and ensuring they receive proper training.
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and possess excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
