About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Briesam Corporation. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates of labour and material costs for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects, including preparation of pre-qualification submissions and bid documents.
  • Project Analysis: Analyze project requirements, including blueprints, drawings, and specifications, to determine work requirements and estimate costs.
  • Cash Flow Management: Project cash flow and financing requirements to ensure accurate estimates and minimize financial risks.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
  • Supply Chain Management: Maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors, and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
