Industrial Millwright Specialist

About the Role
This position is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of industrial equipment and systems within the Röchling Group's manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, performing periodic inspections to identify potential issues.
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance activities on equipment and facilities, including motors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to inform equipment installations and rigging.
- Utilize Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement techniques to maximize equipment output and processes.
- Execute preventative maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repairs to production equipment, hydraulic systems, and pumps.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems to process work orders, PMs, and update equipment databases.
- Support divisional and corporate objectives, including health and safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, and waste reduction.
Requirements
- Certified Industrial Millwright 433A (Red Seal ticket)
- 2-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and a strong safety focus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible schedule that includes planned, unplanned, and on-call shifts.
- Experience with electronics, PLCs, AC and DC motors, and controls is an asset.
- Ability to operate specialized vehicles, such as forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Physically fit and able to negotiate inclines, stairs, and ladders.
- Able to perform physically demanding activities in extreme hot environments, both indoors and outdoors.
- Must be physically able to push, pull, and lift 40 lbs.
- Willingness to work extended hours when and where required.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
Working Conditions
- Permanent, Full-Time Position
- 12-hour continental, day shift only
- Averaging agreements in place
- 84 hours biweekly with opportunity for OT
