About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Canada Weimob Smart Technology Ltd. as a Visual Communications Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective communications materials for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate and Plan Projects

Estimate the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations, and plan accordingly to meet deadlines.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with designers, writers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Coordinate Production

Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, including sub-contracting and vendor management.

Consult with Clients

Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials, ensuring alignment with their objectives.

Develop Visual Elements

Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication, and develop the graphic elements accordingly.

Establish Guidelines

Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers, ensuring consistency in visual style and quality.

Prepare Visual Materials

Prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements, using existing photo and illustration banks and typography guides.

Requirements
  • Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of work.

Language

Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Work Environment

Non-smoking, air-conditioned work environment, with a 35-40 hour workweek.
