About the Job

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues, ensuring a positive experience for all interactions.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively as part of a two-person team or convoy to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Load and Unload: Safely load and unload goods, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of cargo.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Logistics: Oversee all aspects of vehicle operation, including pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Payment and Reconciliation: Process payments for goods and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle remains in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks).
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn from experienced colleagues.
  • Work Environment: Be prepared to work on the road, with a regular schedule of 45 hours per week.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
