Job Title: Data Analyst
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to support the development, evaluation, and enhancement of our programs and initiatives. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data to drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Data Collection and Management: Collect, organize, and manage data from various sources, including program evaluations, surveys, and performance metrics. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Perform statistical analysis and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Generate actionable insights to support program development and strategic decision-making.
- Reporting and Visualization: Create detailed reports, visualizations, and dashboards to present data findings and trends. Tailor reports to meet the needs of different stakeholders, including program managers and executive leadership.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to our programs and initiatives. Provide regular updates and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Evaluation and Improvement: Assist in evaluating the effectiveness and impact of our programs by analyzing feedback, performance data, and outcome measures. Identify areas for improvement and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with program coordinators, educators, and other departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support. Ensure that data analysis aligns with organizational goals and priorities.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain data quality assurance practices to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data. Address any data discrepancies or issues that arise.
- Experience in Data Analysis: Demonstrated experience in data analysis, with a strong understanding of statistical methods, data management, and visualization techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R). Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to present data findings clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple data projects and meet deadlines.
- Passion for STEM Education: Passion for STEM education and a commitment to supporting our mission through data-driven insights and analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with data analysis and visualization tools is preferred.
- Cultural Competence: Ability to engage with a diverse global audience and work within a multicultural environment.
