Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at Pride Fleet Solutions Inc.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with metal fabrication equipment, including manual and semi-automatic welding machines, flame-cutting equipment, and brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.

About the Role
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines
Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications
  • Operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or to fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure adherence to company standards
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and deadlines
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in metal fabrication
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
  • Certifications in welding or related field an asset
