Master Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Master Carpenter to join our team at Hive Developers. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the installation of wood structures and finishes.

• Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Estimate costs and materials
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments

As a Master Carpenter at Hive Developers, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the successful completion of projects.

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience
• Reliability and team player skills
• Ability to work in a variety of locations and environments
