About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Team Member to join our team at Menchies Frozen Yogurt. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve frozen yogurt and other menu items to customers
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the serving area and storage areas
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns
    • Upsell and promote menu items and promotions
  • Inventory and Stocking
    • Receive and stock inventory, including frozen yogurt and other supplies
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
  • Housekeeping and Sanitation
    • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including the serving area, storage areas, and restrooms
    • Follow proper sanitation and cleaning procedures to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean and healthy environment
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service or customer service role
  • Skills
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
