Social Worker I

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our team at Qathet General Hospital in Powell River, BC. As a Social Worker with our organization, you will be responsible for providing clinical and consultative social work services to clients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct social assessments and provide counseling services to clients and families.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in interdisciplinary clinical/case conferences.
- Identify and connect clients with community resources and facilitate care throughout the continuum.

Qualifications- Bachelor of Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work and one year of post-Bachelor of Social Work experience or successful completion of a practicum in a healthcare setting.
- Current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers.
