Job Opportunity: Occasional Library Technician

We are seeking qualified and unqualified library technicians to join our team on a casual basis. As an Occasional Library Technician, you will provide support to our library staff and help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily library operations, including shelving books and materials, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Support students and staff with research and information needs, and provide guidance on library resources and services.
  • Help with programming and events, such as author visits and book clubs.
  • Collaborate with library staff to develop and implement library programs and services.
Requirements:
  • Qualified candidates must have a Library Technician Diploma or be enrolled in a program and nearing successful completion.
  • Unqualified candidates must have a minimum of a college-level Diploma.
  • Pastoral Reference Letter from a Roman Catholic Parish, indicating you are a practicing Roman Catholic (dated within the past 12 months).
  • Resume and Cover Letter addressed to the Sr. Manager of Recruitment, Human Resources.
