N & G Woodworking Inc. is seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a custom cabinet shop and millwork environment.

About the Role

This permanent position offers a competitive salary of $55,000 per year, with opportunities for advancement in a fast-paced environment. As a Cabinetmaker Expert, you will be responsible for creating high-quality custom cabinets, built-in units, and millwork pieces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans, specifications, or drawings of articles to be made
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units and reinforce joints
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products; prepare and apply laminated plastics
  • Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
