Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service area, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies in a timely manner to maintain stock levels.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food safety and quality standards are met.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure that orders are prepared correctly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
