Job Summary

We're seeking a seasoned professional with 6+ years of construction experience, including 1+ years in a Piping Superintendent role. You'll be responsible for overseeing the organization, work methods, scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance of piping projects. Your expertise will ensure that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and develop junior superintendents to ensure a smooth transition of knowledge and skills
  • Review and approve labor rates for foremen, journeymen, and laborers
  • Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
  • Develop and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving
  • Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
  • Review, approve, and negotiate change orders
  • Develop and implement project completion and turnover plans
  • Ensure timely completion of performance evaluations for direct reports
  • Recommend organizational, policy, and procedural changes as needed
Requirements
  • 6+ years of construction experience, with 1+ years in a Piping Superintendent role
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand Kiewit's policies, procedures, and software programs
  • Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration
