About the RoleWe're seeking volunteers who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and building relationships with our members. As a Laundry Service Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Folding towels according to our high standards
- Delivering towels and restocking shelves
- Completing other assigned duties as needed
- Remaining positive, helpful, and welcoming at all times
You'll also have opportunities to build relationships with members, introduce them to other staff and volunteers, and promote our YMCA values.
Qualifications and RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need to:
- Be 13 years of age or older (18+ preferred)
- Provide a Police Reference Check from your local police service (every 3 years)
- Hold Emergency First Aid/CPR certification (asset)
