Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide direct nursing care to residents, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a safe and supportive environment. Key responsibilities include delivering medications and treatments as prescribed, developing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring residents' health status, educating residents and their families on health management and wellness, maintaining accurate documentation of patient care, and ensuring compliance with facility policies and BC health regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess a valid LPN license in British Columbia, current CPR/First Aid Certification, and previous experience in long-term care or a related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care is also required.
