Staff Pharmacist

We seek a skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate preparation and delivery of medications to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels of medications and over-the-counter supplements to meet patient needs.
- Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner.
- Create awareness and educate customers through public relations initiatives.
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests/issues.
- Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary).
- Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs).
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license are mandatory.
- Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism are essential.
- Excellent leadership and performance management skills are required.
- Proven ability to build business using community-based marketing strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans.
- Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy Computer system, are a definite asset.
