Greenhouse Technician

Job Summary: As a key member of our team at Supreme Sprouts LTD., we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Greenhouse Labourer to assist with plant care and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the health and well-being of our plants.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply insecticides and fungicides to plants as required
  • Assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants to promote healthy growth
  • Mix and prepare soils for optimal plant growth
  • Plant bulbs and seeds in the greenhouse
  • Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings to maintain a healthy crop
  • Apply fertilizers to promote plant growth
  • Monitor plants for signs of damage or disease
  • Assist in grafting activities to improve plant stock
  • Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs for transplantation
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean work area to maintain a safe and efficient environment

Work Details: This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. English language is the primary language used in the workplace.
