Gia Foods Ltd. is seeking a skilled Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for determining the method of shipment, scheduling distribution of goods, and preparing bills of lading and other shipping documents.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and possess excellent organizational and communication skills. They will be responsible for assembling containers and crates, inspecting and verifying incoming goods, and maintaining an internal record-keeping system.

The Warehouse Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for routing goods to appropriate storage areas, packing goods to be shipped, and overseeing the loading and unloading of goods. They will work closely with the shipping and receiving team to ensure that all goods are delivered on time and in good condition.

This is a permanent position with a 32-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine method of shipment
  • Schedule distribution of goods
  • Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documents
  • Assemble containers and crates
  • Inspect and verify incoming goods
  • Maintain internal record-keeping system
  • Route goods to appropriate storage areas
  • Pack goods to be shipped
  • Oversee loading and unloading of goods

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in a similar role an asset
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
