Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at BJ PACKERS. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for cutting and processing meat to meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Slaughter and Processing: Slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses.
  • Cutting and Preparation: Cut beef, lamb, pork or veal carcasses or sides or quarters of carcasses into primal cuts for further cutting, processing or packaging.
  • Meat Fabrication: Cut meat and poultry into specific cuts for institutional, commercial or other wholesale use.
  • Boning and Packaging: Remove bones from meat and prepare for packaging.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 15 to 40 hours per week.
