About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Econo Lodge Miramichi. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, and vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture.
  • Make beds and change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries to guest rooms.
  • Stock linen closets and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Handle and report lost and found items, and attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
  • Provide basic information on hotel facilities and amenities to guests.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers, and wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, bend, crouch, and kneel, and combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Will train.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 30 to 40 hours per week. The language of work is English.
