Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at Dynamic Contracting Solutions Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespersons and performing various tasks to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt as directed by supervisors.
  • Assist in demolishing buildings and structures, and clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Perform routine maintenance work, including removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites, and assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed.
  • Help skilled tradespersons with tasks and projects, and assist with the setup and operation of construction equipment.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and equipment.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with a 44-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work term is permanent.
