Key Responsibilities- Tire Repair and Replacement: Repair and replace tires on a variety of vehicles, including automobiles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
- Fluid Maintenance: Add or replace hydraulic and transmission fluids as needed.
- Assist Mechanics: Assist mechanics and perform other duties as directed.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Change engine oil and lubricate running gears or moving parts of vehicles.
- Greasing and Lubrication: Grease booms, pulleys, buckets, and other components of heavy equipment.
- Installation and Repair: Install replacement mufflers, exhaust pipes, shock absorbers, or radiators, and repair and balance tires.
- Filter Replacement: Replace oil, air, and fuel filters on motor vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Physical Demands: The role requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Weight Handling: The ability to lift and handle weights over 45 kg (100 lbs) is required.
