Occupational Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at CB Canada. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Intellectual Disability (ID), and/or Developmental Disability (DD). You will work collaboratively with other professionals to provide comprehensive support and services to individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for individuals with ASD, FASD, ID, and/or DD.
  • Provide direct and indirect intervention services to individuals and their families.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and services.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's Preferred)
  • 2-3 years' experience as an Occupational Therapist is an asset
  • Experience working with adults with ID, DD, and/or ASD
  • Current registration with COTO and with a professional association (i.e., Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists)
  • Training in Sensory Processing is an asset
  • NVCI training is an asset
  • French/English bilingualism is an asset
