We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Onex Construction. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in surfaces, and perform routine maintenance to ensure surfaces are in good condition.
- Paint Application: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces using a variety of techniques.
- Wall Decor Installation: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
- Customer Service: Advise consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
- Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following all health and safety protocols, including working at heights and in cold/refrigerated conditions.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 35 to 40 hours per week.
