Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to staff on immigration policies and procedures, ensuring they are equipped to handle client inquiries and applications efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Perform a range of administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and record-keeping, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Counseling and Support: Offer guidance and support to individuals on daily-life issues, helping them to adapt to new environments and overcome challenges.
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement foreign aid and international development policies and programs, ensuring they align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to inform policy decisions, develop questionnaires for social survey research, and prepare research papers, educational texts, and articles.
  • Communication and Presentation: Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, and symposia, effectively communicating complex information to diverse audiences.
Requirements
  • Education: A college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Business and/or industry.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, organized, and reliable.
