Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Greenlane Montessori Inc.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Educator will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote the overall development of children
  • Lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children on outings
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Assist in keeping records and preparing reports for parents and guardians
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various activities
  • Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports
  • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team
  • Punctuality, dependability, and efficient interpersonal skills
Work Environment:

The Early Childhood Educator will work in a child care centre with a team of dedicated professionals.

Language:

The language of work is bilingual.

Hours of Work:

The hours of work are 30 to 35 hours per week.
