We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Optimization Engineer to join our team at EmVision. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our high-traffic services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Kubernetes clusters on AWS, leveraging technologies like Etcd, Envoy, Istio, and Contour to deliver a robust and scalable infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve infrastructure performance for high-traffic services.
  • Monitor infrastructure health and identify bottlenecks to ensure high availability.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform.
  • Oversee and optimize AWS Lambda functions and deployments.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with a small team within an enterprise environment.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • In-depth knowledge of Etcd, Envoy, Istio, and Contour or equivalent technologies.
  • Ability to analyze Kubernetes metrics and identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Experience with containerized services and AWS at scale.
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., shell, Python).
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure security best practices.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, testing, and code review.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Kubernetes Certification
  • AWS Professional Certification
  • Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
