Job Title: LPN/RPN

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical/Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for providing direct skilled client care under the supervision of a registered nurse. Key responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve positive client outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols
  • Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatments, and progress
  • Conduct ongoing assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up
  • Perform skills, treatments, and procedures competently, in accordance with provincial scope of practice and infection control guidelines
Qualifications
  • Current certificate of competence and good standing
  • Certified in CPR
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with clients and families
