Senior DevOps Engineer

Fortinet is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Developer to support the FortiCare Team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring smooth software delivery through various test stages and into production. They will also assist in administering the backend and configuration in ServiceNow for the CSM module.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to support changing needs in development, test, and production environments.
  • Monitor server status and application logs on production environments.
  • Take ownership of troubleshooting and resolving failures in the Dev, Test, and Production environment, working closely with development and QA teams.
  • Plan and execute deployment on production servers in after-hours.
  • Be on-call for emergency situations.
  • Manage ServiceNow CSM and ITSM modules as a system administrator.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Expertise in building, deploying, and troubleshooting .Net applications in IIS.
  • Experience in IIS management, including performance and security tuning.
  • Proficiency in .NET tools, such as MS Visual Studio and MSBuild.
  • Experience with CI tools like Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of source code management tools, including SVN and Git.
  • Expertise in Windows systems administration using PowerShell.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience in DBA roles using SSMS.
  • Strong understanding of HTTPS, including certificates, TLS, and ciphers.
  • Experience with certificate management.
  • Experience with VM environments.
  • Experience in 24x7 production environments delivering high availability or mission-critical applications.
  • Experience with implementing and managing technology and business processes around security and change management.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including C#, Angular, ASP.Net, T-SQL, PowerShell, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Linux, Graylog, and Kafka is a plus.
  • Administrator experience with ServiceNow CRM and ITSM modules.
