Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at NAGY HOLDINGS LTD. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson.
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs as part of a construction team.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse or recycling.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Remove rubble and other debris from construction sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as cranes, excavators, and concrete mixers.
Work Environment

As a Construction Helper, you will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, and snow. You will also work in confined spaces, such as trenches and underground areas, and may be exposed to dust, noise, and other hazards.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in construction or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in physically demanding environments.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
