Senior Quality Assurance Specialist, Royal Bank of Canada

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our QA team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.
ResponsibilitiesSome of your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing test strategies, plans, and cases to ensure high-quality software delivery;
- Leading and managing QA activities, including coordinating with offshore resources and project teams;
- Identifying gaps in requirements and reporting defects in a timely manner;
- Managing and coordinating testing activities, including developing automation scripts using Python or Java;
- Collaborating effectively with business analysts, development teams, and stakeholders to deliver quality solutions.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in SQL and 3 years' experience in Unix/Linux;
- At least one programming language (Python or Java) and experience with test automation tools;
- Experience in QA methodologies and processes, as well as excellent communication skills;
- Ability to manage and coordinate QA members' testing activities.
