Job Overview

Canada Post Corp is currently seeking a Counter Services Associate to provide exceptional customer-focused services to the public and business community in our retail environment. As an on-call representative, you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of counter services, including selling postal products and services, sorting and processing mail, and addressing customer inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Sell postal products and services to customers, promoting Canada Post's offerings and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Sort, distribute, and process mail into various classifications, ensuring efficient and accurate delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, combined with relevant experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in retail or sales environments.
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles and practices, as well as experience working with cash transactions and handling customer payments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work on-call shifts, with varying schedules and hours.
