Tenure-Track Professor of Teaching and Leadership

We are seeking a highly qualified and accomplished academic to fill a tenure-track professor position in teaching and leadership within our department. The selected candidate will possess a strong background in chemical and biological engineering, as well as a proven track record of excellence in teaching and educational leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of courses within our undergraduate degree programs, with a focus on biochemical engineering and biotechnology. They will also be expected to contribute to the development of innovative teaching practices and to provide leadership in enhancing teaching and learning outcomes in our accredited Chemical and Biological Engineering undergraduate-degree program.
Applicants must hold a PhD in Chemical and/or Biological Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline, and be registered or eligible to register as a professional engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia. Registration is required within five years of appointment.
The anticipated start date of the appointment is 1 January 2025, with a starting annual salary between $110,000 and $130,000 CAD depending on qualifications.
