We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Southern Health-Santé Sud.
Job Summary:The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people-centered care approach.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients
- Work to full scope of practice
- Engage in ongoing education and maintain competency
- Exercise independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods
- Proficiency in both official languages (English/French)
- Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of Professional Standards of Practice, Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and Code of Ethics
