Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Labourer to join our team at Coquitlam Upholstery Shop Ltd. The successful candidate will assist in various tasks related to furniture upholstery and repair, including checking and weighing materials, sorting and packaging products, and performing other labouring and elemental activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers in the furniture upholstery and repair process
  • Check and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products for shipping and storage
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Perform other labouring and elemental activities as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
