Farm Operations Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Farm Operations Specialist to join our team at GreenTech Resources Worldwide Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including planting, fertilizing, cultivating, spraying, irrigating, and harvesting crops. Additionally, they will be responsible for feeding and tending to livestock and poultry, as well as performing breeding activities of farm animals. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment, as well as following food safety and security and animal biosecurity procedures. Responsibilities
  • Plant, fertilize, cultivate, spray, irrigate, and harvest crops
  • Feed and tend to livestock and poultry
  • Perform breeding activities of farm animals

Requirements
  • Previous experience in the farming industry
  • Knowledge of farming best practices
  • Able to work long hours on location
  • Good communication skills
