Position Details
What You Will Do
- Conduct thorough internal investigations, including setting up statements, scene investigations, and neighborhood canvasses, to gather essential information.
- Evaluate liability and subrogation exposures, identifying potential risks and opportunities for resolution.
- Provide concise and timely reports to Leadership on denied claims and escalated situations, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Assist with investigative services reporting, maintaining accurate and detailed records of all file activity.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Fraud Committee, contributing to informed decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, including Underwriting, CAD, and Claims, to ensure seamless handling of files.
Who You Are
- Post-secondary education, with a strong foundation in claims handling and investigation.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of handling complex claims and investigations.
- Excellent customer service experience, with a focus on building strong relationships and resolving issues efficiently.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- High level of attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
