About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Investment Associate to join our team at Wellington-Altus. The successful candidate will provide exceptional support to our Investment Advisors and clients, ensuring seamless delivery of our services and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication, responsiveness, and proactive support.
  • Investment Advice: Provide personalized investment advice and recommend suitable products and strategies to help clients achieve their objectives.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay updated on a wide range of investment products available in the Canadian market and assess their suitability for clients.
  • Compliance and Research: Maintain accurate records and documentation of client transactions and communications, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Process transactions, maintain client files, and ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or diploma in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: 3-8 years' financial services industry experience, including 2+ years in a customer-facing role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Licenses and Certifications: IIROC licensing requirements, including completion of the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course.
