Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Professional to join our team at Mavis Wellness Inc. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our hospital/medical facility or clinic.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a dust-free atmosphere.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space.
  • Make beds and change sheets to provide a comfortable sleeping environment for patients and staff.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain high standards of hygiene.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to prevent litter and unpleasant odors.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Mend clothing and linens to extend their lifespan.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as required to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a sparkling clean environment.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job to develop your skills and expertise.
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • A combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
