Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our branch, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Needs Assessment: Identify customer needs and provide advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their individual needs.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products, practices, and trends, and integrate this knowledge into customer conversations.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and other stakeholders to deliver the desired customer experience and achieve overall business objectives.
- Problem-Solving: Perform initial problem-solving within given rules and limits, and escalate when required.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the wider financial services marketplace, the legal and regulatory environment, and our commitment to upholding the highest ethical requirements of our industry.
Requirements:
- Education: No prior experience necessary; post-secondary degree or certification in a related field of study is desirable.
- Skills: High-level knowledge of personal, commercial, and partner offers, and how each can best serve customers' individual needs. Confident and experienced in the use of online tools and applications. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
- Personal Qualities: Passionate commitment to helping customers. Resourceful self-starter with courage and confidence to approach customers. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: $33,850.00 - $44,000.00 per year.
