Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at OEB Breakfast Co. as a key member of our kitchen operations team.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet production demands
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, inventory, and staff performance
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and optimize menu offerings
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
