CNC Milling Machine Programmer/Setter/Operator
Department:
Machine Shop
Main Purpose of Job:
To effectively interpret route cards, program, and operate CNC machines to produce a quality end product in a timely fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming of Universal vertical & horizontal milling CNC machines in line with information provided on drawings and route cards.
- Set & run CNC machines and ensure smooth operation.
- Ensure quality of all machined work and bring any problems or potential problems to the attention of the Supervisor or Machine Shop Manager.
- Provide support to other members of the Machine Shop as required.
- Become competent in the application of any new technology introduced into the machine shop.
- Practise good housekeeping at all times.
- Operate in line with the Company's Health and Safety Policy at all times.
Requirements:
Experienced CNC Miller Required
Applicants must have extensive CNC Milling experience.
Current position is for day shift 8:15 am to 5:00 pm, 39 hours per week.
