About the Position:
We are seeking a highly qualified part-time faculty member to teach pre-nursing and undergraduate nursing courses, including Medical Terminology, Mental Health, Community Health, Health Assessment, Pharmacology, Senior Seminar, and Bridge to Professional Nursing.
Responsibilities:
- Teach assigned courses in a manner that fosters student learning and engagement.
- Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participation.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of academic programs.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in Nursing and clinical experience in an advanced practice nursing role. Experience in inpatient nursing specialty areas and community settings is also required.
Apart from the basic qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, competencies in teaching methods and evaluation processes, comfort with healthcare and educational technology, organizational and time management skills, willingness to collaborate and work as a team member, commitment to the nursing profession, and knowledge of ongoing quality monitoring and accreditation processes.
