Ethnic Food Cook

We are seeking an experienced cook to join our team at Indian Curry House. As an ethnic food cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook a variety of Indian dishes, including South Indian, East Indian, and International cuisine.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality dishes are served to customers.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with staff accommodation available.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Organized: Ability to maintain inventory and records, and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
