Job Title: IT Administrator

Job Summary:

Air North, Yukon's Airline is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting all server and network infrastructure, collaborating with teams and business to understand and utilize current technologies, and exploring new opportunities to enhance support for Air North.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Active Directory configuration and management
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers and network infrastructure
  • Implementation and monitoring of security measures to protect IT systems from cyber threats
  • Managed services experience, NOC, SOC, SaaS, IaaS
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
  • Developing and maintaining backup and recovery procedures
  • Planning and executing system upgrades and patches
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of IT systems and processes
  • Providing technical support and training to staff
  • Coordinating with external vendors for procurement and maintenance of IT equipment and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Cloud Administrator
  • 4-7 years of experience working with IT teams in a coordination role
  • Previous aviation experience considered an asset
  • Experience in IT procurement, project coordination, vendor management, and IT Service Management practices
  • Experience in managing server and network infrastructure
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident, or show proof of right to work in Canada
  • Must have and maintain a valid Class 5 Driver's License
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
