The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment, including supervising and coordinating staff activities, training employees, and maintaining quality control standards.

About the Role

This is a full-time permanent position working 35 hours per week. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback and coaching as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in food services
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
