Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Labourer to join our team. As a Roofing Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and maintenance of roofing systems, including loading and unloading materials, lifting heavy objects, and cleaning work areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, vehicles, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
  • Lifts heavy objects by hand or with a power hoist and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
  • Shovels loose materials such as sand, gravel, metals, plastics, or chemicals, into machine hoppers or vehicles and containers such as wheelbarrows, scrap trucks, or barrels.
  • Installs vapor barriers and/or layers of insulation.

Requirements

  • Experience in a construction environment is considered an asset.
  • Ability to work and communicate with others.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Ability to learn and obey our extensive company safety policy.
